Please take a look at my first article written for Examiner.com about 5 diet myths that are not entirely true. <—(just click on the link)
I would love to hear your thoughts so please let me know what you think and if there are any food related topics you would like me to write about!
I couldn’t agree more with your blog about the myths!
Started paleo last year in February but I do things a bit my way. Still eat legumes and some cheese on a regular base, my body has no problems with it and I seem to do fine with them 🙂
Very nice! I hope you have continued success!

I’m doing Whole30 right now (extreme paleo for 30 days), but look forward to the reintroduction phase to see which foods I need to avoid long-term. It’s all about balance and moderation, even when it comes to vegetables!
I agree with you there are a lot of myths out there. Frankly I believe that the best diet is not to diet at all, but to do regular exercise and eat a variety of foods all in a proportionate way. Most of us are fat because we do not exercise enough and we tend to over eat. We also eat the wrong kinds of food, it is much easier to eat fast foods that it is to make our own hamburger at home. I have a good 40lbs to loose. I need to make the right choices too.
I agree 1000%. I wrote an article about that same subject right here http://nerdsteak.com/2013/09/30/its-because-we-became-lazy-us-obesity-problem/
I agree! I also think it’s important to consider that weight is not necessarily an indicator of health. We often use the two concepts interchangeably, but that’s not really accurate. Also, a lot of us have unrealistic body expectations based on media representations. I know a lot of people who consider themselves “heavy,” even though they objectively aren’t, because they’re comparing themselves to media images.
I agree 1000%!!!!!!
